Job description
As a hod carrier, you will be responsible for assisting in the transportation and distribution of construction materials on job sites. Your physical strength and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of materials for our team.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks and distribute them to designated areas on the job site
- Mix and prepare mortar and other construction materials according to specifications
- Assist masons and other construction workers in carrying and placing bricks, blocks, and other materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials are properly stored and accounted for
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and their uses
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience as a hod carrier or in a similar role is preferred
