Responsibilities
- Measure and mark out materials for cutting and shaping
- Cut, shape, and join wood pieces using hand and power tools
- Install and fit wooden structures and fittings such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out wooden structures and fittings
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy of work
Qualifications
- Proven experience in joinery or carpentry
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have a CSCS Card
